THE MOON MAIDEN

A drawing I made of the planet Mercury as observed on Saturday, September 7th 1991, at 12h 00 UT

Venus showing detail in the clouds. these were faint, so I have exaggerated them so that you can more easily see the patterns within the clouds at that time. The observation was made on Sunday October 6th 1991 at 09h 45 UT

COMET P/Encke near the star SAO 127540 Observed on January 2nd 1994 at 17h 40 UT. Sir Partick Moore used my obsevation of Encke's Comet in his address to the Royal Society a number of years later

19 (TX) Piscium. A huge red carbon Star with a distinctive red colour in binoculars. The is the star several degrees to the Right of the Totally eclipsed moon in September. It lies over 300 light years away and is over 20 million miles in diameter.
